Delhi police files two FIRs regarding Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter hack

Delhi Police on Thursday authorized two FIRs into the hacking of the official Tweeter handle of Congress get together and its Vp Rahul Gandhi. Deependra Pathak, Joint Commissioner of Delhi Authorities said: “The Cyber Cellular has lodged two FIRs in the hacking circumstance. We are probing the situation. ”
“We are also taking help from officials in Twitter in Bengaluru, ” he added.
The cases were listed under Section 66 of IT Act following issues from the Congress get together leaders.
Police said preliminary investigation suggested that Rahul Gandhi’s official email was compromised to gain access to his Twitter account.
Wednesday night, Mr Gandhi’s Twitter account was hacked and expletives and violations were posted on it.
A few several hours later, the Congress party’s official Twitter account was found to be hacked as well.
