How to bypass root password of phpmyadmin

Phpmyadmin-

This is very important setup in your XAMPP server setup, and by default xampp provide null password of root user in phpmyadmin, whenever you setup the root password, and if you are forgot the password or root user, then there are no option to change or reset the root password of phpmyadmin.

In this post I will like to show you you how to bypass the root password of phpmyadmin.

Whenever you change the root password, then the following error will occur on your web page.

MySQL Said:
#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

so follow the below steps and bypass the root password of phpmyadmin

Step 1: Stop all services from xampp

Step 2: go to C:\xampp\mysql\bin and open my.ini file.

Step 3: find [my sqld] and add the following string below [mysqld] in the my.ini file

skip-grant-tables

Step 4: Now start or restart services of xampp (phpmyadmin & Apache) and open phpmyadmin, and you can see your phpmyadmin will work fine without shows any error.

Step 5: Now you can edit or set root password of phpmyadmin without knowing of current password.
