Whatsapp old text-based status back in the beta version 2.17.95

WhatsApp received a lot of disappointed faces for enabling the stories option which gets disappear in 24hrs alike the SNAPCHAT and INSTAGRAM specification. Confessed by the billions of users to get back to the old text based status, the message service companies has decided to get back to its old feature soon.
Evidently, in the latest beta version, 2.17.95 restores the old feature as “About and phone number” which will appear on the user’s profile. Upgrading the app will automatically add the previous status respectively.
To change the status, will go to the three dots given on the top right corner nd tap on it and go to the settings. Then, go the respective name who will take the user to the profile page from where you can change your status. This is being tested only for the android beta testers.As to there is no such information for the official announcement.
Apart from this, the company has also introduced the separate buttons for the voice calls and the video calls which will be easy to access by the user.
