By Prempal Singh 0 Comment May 3, 2018

Thousands of Uber users are sure that their accounts have been hacked by Russian hackers. So, Uber users received accounts in rubles for trips around Moscow and St. Petersburg, which they did not commit.

According to the British newspaper The Times, more than 800 Britons and Americans complained on Twitter about stealing their account in Uber, but according to experts, the number of hacked accounts can be much larger.

Users are sure that the data of their accounts were sold in DarkNet.

Earlier it was reported that the regulators of Australia, Britain, Singapore and the US appealed to the US company Uber Technologies to investigate the leak of data of 55 million customers and 7 million drivers around the world.

Recall that hackers kidnapped data of 57 million customers and drivers of the online taxi order service Uber . The incident occurred in 2016 and was hidden by a company that paid hackers $ 100,000 to remove the data.

Earlier in the Cyberpolicy of Ukraine reported that  hackers stole personal data of ATU participants . Workers of cyberpolicy already installed a computer with the help of which hackers got access to the servers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as its owner.
