The Ministry of Defense of Singapore suggested that Hackers find Vulnerabilities in the Systems of the Department –

The Ministry of Defense of Singapore announced the launch of a vulnerability fraud program, in which cybersecurity experts will check online resources of the agency for vulnerabilities, according to a press release on the website of the Defense Ministry.

According to representatives of the ministry, such a program is launched by the department for the first time. For each vulnerability discovered, experts will receive remuneration ranging from 150 (about $ 111) to 20 thousand ($ 14.8 thousand) of Singapore dollars.

The program will last from January 15 to February 4, 2018, and will be distributed to 8 Ministry of Defense resources.

Earlier, the Pentagon also launched a similar program. A year later, the agency announced the receipt of 2,287 reliable reports on vulnerabilities from approximately 650 hackers from 50 countries around the world.
