Indian hackers have penetrated Pakistan’s digital infrastructure; awaiting government go-ahead

India is claiming to have penetrated critical Pakistani authorities websites, in preparation for possible strike commands from the government.

Additional Director- General of the National Internet Security and safety Requirements, S Amar Prasad Reddy, said at the Country wide Cyber Defense Summit 2016 that an Indian team of hackers has permeated online infrastructure in Pakistan, including defense systems and a collection of gov.pk websites. “The instant we get the approval, we will destroy these,” he said in a quote to the Hindu.

The anticipatory action reportedly started out soon after the Pathankot terrorist attack on January 2. Reddy promises the team in question is poised and ready to destroy critical authorities assets. In addition, when asked about the security of India’s own websites, Reddy says teams and systems are actually in location to guard the main of property. However, he also confesses that India needs near 10 lakh cyber security personnel to protect facilities in all states.
