What is Virtual Box?
VirtualBox is deceptively simple yet also very powerful. It can run everywhere from small embedded systems or desktop class machines all the way. VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, Macintosh, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x and 4.x), Solaris and Open Solaris, OS/2, and OpenBSD.
Download Virtual Box
Download Virtual Box from there official website https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads according to your system requirement like 32/64bit on windows hosts, OS X Hosts, Linux Hosts, Solaris Hosts.
Installing Virtual Box
Step 1:
Double Click on setup file (VirtualBox-5.0.16-105871-Win.exe) which you download earlier then a setup wizard appear and click
Step 2:
Now you can change the drive to install Virtual Box or may set default. Or you can changes on the icons in the tree to features will be install. After changing (If required) click on next tab.
Step 3:
check on uncheck according to your requirement that features and click on next tab.
Step 4:
There is a warning that “Installing the Oracle VM VirtualBox 5.0.16 Networking feature will reset your network connection and temporarily disconnect you from the network.” Then Proceed to Yes and click on install, its take couple of minutes so take patience.
Step5:
Click on finish, now finally you have successfully installed VirtualBox.
