Google released Android O Developer Preview 3, with the final API

Stable release Android O approach. Google has announced the release of the third preview version for Android O Developer Preview 3 developers, which includes the final API.

Update API will spread the beta-testing under the Android Beta Program Program today. As the developers, the update includes the latest version of Android O with the final API level 26 and “hundreds” fixes and optimizations.

Now that the API completed, application developers will be able to publish the APK in alpha, beta, or even a release channel on Google Play. Publication of applications for Android O on stage preview allows testing in advance the compatibility with existing devices.

Android O Developer Preview available for Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Nexus Player. Recall that in March, Google published the first preview of Android O, focused on developers, and has launched a public beta in May. As reported then, Android O stable release is planned for summer 2017.
