Guardians detained a group of hackers who hacked ATMs using a unique program.

According to the press service of the Chernigov police, the perpetrators “forced” the bank terminals to give them money, and the amount is estimated at hundreds of thousands.

The cops noted that recently, several high-tech thefts from ATMs were noted – after a mechanical damage to the device, the attackers got access to the service connector and with the help of their program they gave a command to issue cash.

“These crimes have focused on themselves the attention of the Chernihiv police and cyberpolicy, since nothing like this has happened in Ukraine yet,” the report said.

In turn, the police also used modern methods of search and were able to identify those involved in the robbery of ATMs that used fake documents and constantly changed their place of residence.

On the night of February 10, operatives detained “guest performers” in the act – before the detention, the attackers cleared another 200 thousand hryvnias for another ATM in one of the district centers of the Chernihiv region.

Currently, the police are taking measures to identify and detain accomplices of hackers, as well as withdrawing material evidence. Pre-trial investigation continues.

Earlier in France, robbers directly on the road  robbed the collection machine for seventy kilograms of gold .

Recall recently  in New York, a passerby stole a bucket of gold from an open collector’s car .
