Australia looks to partner with India in Cyber Security

A mission from the country is touring India to seek partnership with Indian IT companies and provide them with modern internet security capabilities. The objective features a six affiliate delegation specializing in internet security technology and alternatives.

The delegation is going to senior executives from the University of Melbourne and Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai and New Delhi executives and the Swinburne University of Technology. The delegation will offer the Indian IT industry entry to a profile of novel Australian internet security solutions across systems, networks, smart devices, mobile and online. They will also offer Australian institutions’ research expertise in progress the next generation of cyber security technologies and solutions.

“Australian expertise can help solve cyber security challenges. A large number of Australian businesses have strong cyber security functions developed through home Australian systems and solutions.” According to John Madew, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, Australian Company and Investment Commission.

Sydney also has good experience in conditions of development and eight of the universities appeared in the top 100 global research university list. That kind of knowledge base can be useful in India and other countries, relating to one of the members of the delegation. In partnering with India, they are looking to scale the large market, something not offered back again home due to population size. The kind of gain access to Indian companies have is not present with Foreign companies and partnering will be a win-win situation as India will get advanced cyber-security functions and Australia will get a market.
