WhatsApp Messenger will Block Fake News and Spam –
Developers of the world’s most popular messaging service WhatsApp intend to stop the spread of false news on their platform.
In addition, they want to clear the messenger as much as possible from all sorts of spam. For this purpose, a new notification system will be implemented in the application.
Several sources have confirmed that WhatsApp developers are testing a new notification system that warns about the risk of spam. If one of the messages was sent more than 25 times, then the service will notify the user that the text sent to them is spam.
If you still need to forward the same message more than 25 times, then you will need to use the Broadcast List function, which allows you to send news to several users at once. However, in this case, the recipients can only be those who have your phone number on the contact list.
The new feature is being tested in the iOS version of the service. About the timing of its implementation, nothing is reported.
